Post international shipping with Endicia
Hello there everyone,

I currently run an ecommerce website and we deal with shipping fairly small packages all over the world. We have been using Endicia through our website order manager to ship our domestic first class and priority mail packages, however we would like to use this program with our int'l orders as well. Until now, we have been just trucking our int'l orders to the post office weekly which puts a hold on shipping and production.

What I am trying to find out (other than the information offered on endicia.com) is what is the best way to ship international orders using this program and have no value whatsoever appear on the package. We have been using the "Stealth" postage option which is supposed to hide the ship cost, BUT there is still a cost that shows up on the customs form. Is there any way to hide this too?

Does anyone have any suggestions for how we can handle this better? Or any other ways that we can ship our customers with any other program other than endicia??

Thanks for any imput.

-Tina

Tina,

I believe that you cannot hide the value on the customs form as that is the point of the customs form... to declare what you are shipping into other countries. Certain countries have limits on what they allow you to import.

Hi Tina,
I would recommend you to have a proper research in this matter because different rules apply in different countries, so you should be checking that too. I think that there is no other way to hide the cost as your dealings are done through Endicia. Try checking out the terms of other companies as there might be some who would have the rights to do the needful in you case.
