Post Using customs form when shipping from U.S. to Canada
Hello!  We ship collectible coins to Canada once in awhile.  Most of the coins are worth between $10 $100, but occassionally we ship $1000+ coins.  The method we have used over the years varies, usually based on the request of the customers in Canada.

I am curious if there is a better way to ship to Canada, while still staying within the law.  We have been listing the dollar amount of the package on the customs form as $15 or $20, but never the actual amount.  We also list the contents as "collectible souvenir".   Is this technique okay?  I have been using Global Priority (USPS) with insurance provided by our 3rd party carrier (Discount Shipping Insurance).

Any suggestions or opinions?  Thanks.
